Student Leadership Team
Following a gruelling interview process we appointed Abbi & Sean as the inaugural Head Girl and Head Boy on our Student Leadership Team. Kathryn and Jordan will be their deputies.
Their first task is to create more relevant titles than Head Boy and Head Girl to represent and complement the school motto All Different. All Equal and be more in tune for students for life in 2017.

The PE department are planning a new and exciting residential outdoor activities trip to Thurston Outdoor Education Centre in the Lake District.
The dates of the trip are from Monday 14th - Friday 18th May 2018. This is the first year the trip has run and we are able to offer places to 48 pupils in years 7, 8, 9 and 10.
The places will be allocated on a first paid first served basis so please read the letter for parents and kit list and return the signed consent slip along with the deposit ASAP to secure a place for your child.
For further information about the trip please contact Miss Flynn in the PE department and if you would like to know more about Thurston, take a look at their promotional video
Story of the Civil War in the North East
Our Year 8 History students recently completed two workshops to find out about the role Tynemouth Priory played in the Civil War. On day one they visited Newcastle University to see the original resources which inspired the whole project before visiting the School of History to enjoy a lecture delivered by Dr Rachel Hammersley
