We are incredibly proud to say that Kenton School has been shortlisted for the TES School Awards 2019!

The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the education sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the Tes Schools Awards 2019.

It's been revealed that Kenton School has been shortlisted for the Creative School of the Year award.

Tes editor Ann Mroz said:

"It is wonderful to see such great ideas and excellent practice emerging from our schools and teachers, especially at a time when schools are under financial pressure. We had a record number of entries this year and the standard was very high, so all those shortlisted should be very proud: it’s an extraordinary achievement to be on this shortlist."

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening on Friday 21 June 2019. Good luck to Ms Verrall and the Art department.

Enrichment at Kenton School

Kenton Aspire runs from year 7 to year 11. Ideally by year 11 all students will have already completed their 6 challenges so they can focus upon their academic studies.

Aspire is a challenge that includes a minimum of 6 activities / initiatives that aim to provide enrichment opportunities whilst developing and accrediting (PIXL) students attitudes, attributes, personal development and skills essential for employability and life.
